Settlement without hardware: how Pay via PanovaaX works
A QR code, a link and a shared ledger are enough to let any Nigerian business accept benefit-funded payments.
Terminals are expensive, slow to deploy and a poor fit for a small kitchen in Yaba. So we removed them from the model entirely.
The flow
A partner displays a QR or shares a payment link. A signed-in employee opens it, sees the benefit unit impact, and confirms. The exact monetary value debits the employer-backed benefit allocation underneath and credits the merchant settlement balance in the same transaction.
Why it settles cleanly
Because entitlement and receivable are written together, there is no float and no end-of-month reconciliation. Settlement runs on a schedule and produces a statement each partner can audit line by line.
Built for reality
Everything is designed for real-world phones and inconsistent networks: quick-loading pages, small payloads, duplicate protection, and a receipt you can download as a PDF when coverage drops.
